Description : The bilberry leaves are used in diabetes mellitus, and in the prevention and treatment of diseases and disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, kidney, urinary tract and respiratory tract. They are also used against rheumatisms, gout, hemorrhoids, circulatory disorders, functional heart problems, as metabolism stimulant and depurative. This plant would retard aging, this could be explained by the ability of its antioxidants to neutralize free radicals which cause oxidative stress, partially from problems due to aging. Other elements in this plant, especially flavonoids such as beta-carotene, have anti-inflammatory properties that may also play a role in the treatment of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease.
Recommended dosage : 15 to 30 drops 2 to 3 times daily or as recommended by your health care practitioner.
