Contains : Medicinal Ingredients: Dong quai (1:4 Liquid Extract) each tablespoon contains 15 ml (Angelica sinensis) root, equivalent to 3,75 g Dong Quai. Non-medicinal ingredients: Purified water, 6% natural grain alcohol.
Description : In traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), dong quai is considered as a tonic for the spleen and blood and it is used for its positive effect on circulatory disorders. It is a key ingredient of traditional remedies for proper functioning of the female reproductive tract.
Although it is known to relieve menopausal symptoms when taken alone, it is often used in combination with other herbs to alleviate premenstrual and menstrual disorders, menopause symptoms, increase female fertility, tone the uterus, facilitate childbirth, relieve intestinal and uterine spasms, protect respiratory and circulatory disorders and treat anemia.
Recommended dosage : Take 15 ml 3 times daily or as recommended by your health care practitioner. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.
Cautions and warnings : Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use with anticoagulants and antiplatelet agents, if you have a hormone cancer, a cold or flu, or if you have diarrhea. Consult a health care practitioner before use if you have a deficiency of protein S due to a potential increase for thrombosis. May contain natural sediment. Shake well. Do not use if safety seal is broken. Refrigerate after opening.
Reverse actions : Discontinue use if the skin sensitivity to sunlight increases.
