Description : The gentian stimulates the gustatory receptor related to the bitter taste, increasing salivary and gastric secretions. It stimulates appetite and improves the overall functioning of the digestive system. Through its six powerful digestive enzymes, gentian consumed about half an hour before meals, stimulates gastric juices and effectively prepares the stomach for digestion.
The stimulating action of gentian on the stomach work relieves many dysfunctions, such as flatulence, indigestion and poor appetite. It also stimulates liver and biliary functions and is often suggested as a digestive tonic for seniors.
