Contains : Figwort (Scrophularia nodose), ratio 1:5, purified water, 27% natural grain alcohol.
Description : Figwort derives its name from it old reputation in the treatment of scrofulous tumors (lymph node form). It is traditionally used as a decongestant and lymphatic cleaner It is also useful to treat tonsils and swollen glands. It contains harpogosides and harpogicides, two substances to which it owes its anti-inflammatory properties. Its purgative effect is related to anthraquinone (a substance that accelerates intestinal transit similar to rhubarb). Externally, it is used against sunburns, burns and sluggish wounds.
Recommended dosage : 1/4 tsp 2 to 3 times daily or as recommended by your health care practitioner.
